Welcome to my Wood Profits review.
I don’t know a damn thing about woodworking.
But I’m pretty good at finding out if a home business opportunity is the real deal or not.
It looks like Jim Morgan’s Wood Profits probably isn’t going to live up to its sales page claims.
But fear not.
Because I’ve managed to find an alternative strategy that can actually help you start your own online woodworking business from home.
But first, let’s take a closer look at Wood Profits.
is Wood Profits?
Wood Profits is an ‘instantly downloadable’ 53-page eBook guide.
That supposedly shows you how to start your own ‘thriving’ home-based woodworking business.
The ‘system’ is allegedly the brainchild of ‘Jim Morgan’.
Who claims to have started his woodworking business on a limited budget back in 1994.
And has managed to average a profit of $12,574 every month from home for the last 25 years.
What Does Wood
Some of the specific claims made by Wood Profits include:
- Start your $90,000 – $150,000 business for less than $1,000;
- You don’t need to be a professional woodworker to get results;
- Everything that you’ll need to succeed is included in the guide.
How Much Does Wood Profits Cost?
The eBook costs $37.
However, if you try to leave the page – you’ll be offered a $10 discount.
There are three upsells and two
Pricing is as follows:
- 1st Upsell – $29.97
- 2nd Upsell – $39 > Downsell $29
- 3rd Upsell – $49.97 > Downsell $39.97
3 Reasons Why I Don’t Recommend Jim Morgan’s Wood Profits
I’m not really a fan of branding a product a ‘scam’.
Unless there’s incontrovertible proof that allows me to substantiate such a claim.
And whilst I cannot say for sure that Jim Morgan’s Wood Profits is a scam based on what I’ve unearthed.
My preliminary research revealed some facts that were enough to put me off buying the product.
Thus leading me to conclude that Wood Profits probably won’t make you $90,000 – $150,000 per year from home.
1: Unrealistic Claims
Like I said.
I haven’t got a clue about woodworking.
So, I went in search of an expert’s opinion.
And, according to Jean at WoodWorkJunkie.com:
‘If you sold a specific product for $100.00 at a very impressive 40% profit. It would mean you would need to produce 3750 units of that product a year to make $150,000.00. That’s roughly 72 units a week. According to “Jim”, you will only be working 20 hours a week which means you will need to produce an object every 17 mins.’
So, there you have it.
In order to make the amount of money claimed by Wood Profits.
You’ll need to work faster than Superman on methamphetamine.
2: Jim Morgan Probably Doesn’t Exist
The Wood Profits sales page claims that this is ‘Jim Morgan’:
However, I also found ‘Jim’ hanging out on iStock [view image here].
Where anyone with a spare £20 can buy the same image.
Also, if you look at the rest of the Wood Profits sales page.
You’ll see that ‘Jim’ appears as several different people.
More stock photos I’m assuming.
3: Spam Complaints
According to this thread.
‘Nick C’ has been receiving spam emails from ‘Jim Morgan’s Wood Profits’ for the last 6-months:
And this poor soul is getting the ‘same spam’ 5 years after Nick’s initial complaint:
Conclusion: Serious Caution Advised
As I said.
I never went ahead and bought Wood Profits.
Because my initial research raised too many red flags.
Therefore, I cannot say for sure that you can’t succeed with what Wood Profits teaches.
But based on the fact that I couldn’t find a single GENUINE Wood Profits review from an actual customer online (only biased affiliate reviews).
And in light of the points raised above.
I recommend that you proceed with serious caution.
