Clout Pay is now Paid 4 Clout.

Here we go again.

Clout Pay is the latest name in the long line of deceptively dangerous data harvesting scams that keep popping up on Facebook and Twitter.

If you’ve not been keeping up with the Online Income Solutions blog recently…

Allow me to explain how these sorts of ‘social influencer’ scams work…

What is Clout Pay?

Clout Pay claims to be an ‘influencer network’ that will pay you for completing online surveys and competitions via the ‘task wall’ found in the membership area.

And that’s in addition to the $10 – $15 that you’ll supposedly get for each person that joins Clout Pay via your unique referral link.

As well as a $25 bonus just for signing up.

Sounds great doesn’t it?

That’s not how Clout Pay works at all.

How Does Clout Pay REALLY Work?

I’ll provide my justification in the second half of this CloutPay review.

But I can say with near absolute certainty that the Clout Pay website has been set up to steal your personal data.

And why would Clout Pay do that?

Because they can sell your personal information on to spammers and even hackers.

Oh and the ‘$30 task wall’?

That’s packed with CPA affiliate links that will allow Clout Pay to cash in for a second time when you click through and perform a specific action.

Such as filling out an online survey.

Have You Already Signed Up to Clout Pay?

Did you use the same password as that associated with your email account?

Then you’ll need to change that ASAP.

Because in the very similar Lootbits scam…

One user claimed that his email account was hacked when he gave away duplicate information via the task wall.

Fake Clout Pay Reviews and Payment Proofs

One more thing before we go any further.

In addition to the fake Clout Pay payment proofs and testimonials found on the Clout Pay website…

There are also plenty of ‘positive’ Clout Pay reviews out there that are also pure fiction.

Which have either been created by the owners of Clout Pay themselves as a confidence trick…

Or the unfortunate users of Clout Pay who are yet to discover that they’ll never be able to withdraw their Clout Pay balance.

(I’ll explain why soon).

Is Clout Pay a Scam or Legit?

In my opinion?

It’s almost certain that Clout Pay is a data harvesting scam.

Here’s how I know.

3 Reasons Why Clout Pay is a Scam

The truth is that I’ve exposed this type of scam more times than I care to list here on Online Income Solutions already.

And they all follow the same template.

Where no one ever gets paid but instead have their details stolen and their personal accounts spammed.

Here are the specifics as they relate to Clout Pay.

1: Clone of the Clout Bucks Scam

Clout Pay is just a clone of the Clout Bucks scam.

Which is a copy of the confirmed Kids Earn Cash con.

Where not a single user was allowed to withdraw the ‘money’ they had accrued in their account.

And instead had their social media accounts and mobile phones spammed incessantly:

2: False Claims

All of these data harvesting scams claim to have been in business for several years.

But each time I run a WHOIS check…

The domain is typically almost brand new.

And in the case of Clout Pay?

Despite claiming to have been operational since 2015…

The domain is just 20 days old at the time of writing:

3: Flagged as a Dangerous Site

And to top it all off?

Every single page that I visited on the Clout Pay website was flagged as dangerous by my anti-virus software.

With specific reference to there being a risk to my personal information.

Conclusion: Complete Scam – Avoid

I realise that my primary argument here is ‘guilt by association’.

But in my opinion?

The red flags are serious enough to label Clout Pay as a data harvesting scam.

Don’t sign up.

  • None.

  • You won’t get paid.
  • Your personal details are at risk.

What’s the Alternative to Clout Pay?

Do you want to earn good money online?

Then you might be better off shifting your attention AWAY from online survey sites and low-paying click work jobs.

And instead focus on building a website that you can make money from over and over again.

Because that’s what I’ve been doing for a few years now.

And it’s earned me 5-figures in passive income.

But be warned.

Building the type of online affiliate business that has helped me earn as much as £600 in one day isn’t going to happen overnight.

You’ll need to work hard for a few months before you’ll make any money at all.

But the long-term payoff is worth it in my experience.
