Tai Lopez is an internet marketing guru that sells online money making courses and coaching services.

Although I do not personally think that Tai Lopez is a pure scam artist…

Because his courses have proven to be valuable to some judging by the positive reviews online…

Others have reported that much of the information can be found for free elsewhere.

Potentially rendering his courses overpriced.

Overall: caution advised.

  • Possible value to his courses.

  • Courses are typically expensive.
  • Getting a refund might be difficult.
  • Marketing practices are arguably unethical.
  • May have previously been involved in online dating scams.
  • Courses may lack strategic substance.
  • Possible to find some of the content for free online.

Payments and Ownership: I DON’T work for Tai Lopez – nor am I an affiliate. If you have payment issues or need to get a refund – you’ll need to contact Tai Lopez directly. ALWAYS make sure that you understand the payment and billing arrangements BEFORE subscribing or buying anything.

Welcome to my Tai Lopez review.

Everyone wants to make money online.

Me included.

That’s why I’ve been working really hard on growing my online affiliate business over the last 12 months.

And whilst I’ve had some tremendous successes thanks to the strategies taught in my #1 online money making solution…

There’s always room for improvement.

And in my quest to find another legitimate programme to complement the techniques that are already working for me…

I kept running into a chap called Tai Lopez.

Here’s a screenshot of his website:

Screenshot of Tai Lopez's Website.

I’d heard of Tai Lopez before.

And I was initially put off because he seemed to be using his materialistic lifestyle to sell his products on YouTube…

Rather than being real about the strategies he was using.

But curiosity got the better of me.

And I wanted to know the answers to some pretty important questions.

Are Tai Lopez’s products actually worth the money?

Or is Tai Lopez is scam artist?

So I did some digging around.

And here’s what my research uncovered.

Who is Tai Lopez?

According to the description on Tai Lopez’s LinkedIn profile:

‘Tai Lopez is an investor, partner, consultant, or advisor to over 20 multi-million dollar businesses’.

But having watched several of his videos and spent a great deal of time reading the content on his website…

It looks to me like Tai Lopez is an internet marketing guru.

Tai Lopez Portrait Image.

In my opinion…

An internet marketing guru is basically someone who claims to be able to teach you how to make money online…

But actually makes their money by showing you how to make money online!

I’ll get into why I think this could potentially ruin peoples’ lives later in this review.

What’s Tai Lopez’s Story?

According to my research?

Tai Lopez (‘Taino Adrian Lopez’) was born on April 11th 1977 in LA California in the US.

(Although other sources say that Tai was actually born on the 11th of April 1976).

It’s alleged that Tai got into business at 6 years old selling cherry tomatoes and opening the ever-classic lemonade stand.

At 16 he became interested in philosophy and began researching how to live a ‘better life’.

It appears that this thread of thinking has persisted ever since.

Leading him to go traveling and meet the authors of the books he was reading after dropping out of college.

Tai has apparently worked in a leper colony in India, lived with the Amish for more than 2 years, and spent some time sleeping on his mother’s couch after becoming jobless.

Where he then supposedly wondered how he could turn his ‘last’ $47 into more money.

And so began working for free for his mentor ‘Mike’ in an effort to become a skilled businessman [source].

What is Tai Lopez Famous For?

Tai Lopez became ‘famous’ in 2015 for his YouTube videos.

His ‘Tai Lopez’ YouTube channel currently has 1,308,046 subscribers at the time of me writing this Tai Lopez review.

His most ‘infamous’ ‘Here In My Garage’ video currently has 69 MILLION views…

It gained such notoriety because many claimed that the Lamborghini wasn’t his.

And that the whole thing was clearly just a stunt to drive traffic to his website.

Take a look at the video for yourself below.

Let me know what you think about it in the comments section at the end of the post:

Does Tai Lopez Do Anything Else?

I couldn’t find a ‘proper’ Wikipedia page for Tai Lopez.

And much of the other things that Tai Lopez ‘does’ looks to have been written by himself or his team.

But from what I can gather…

Tai Lopez:

  • Owns Tailopez.com.
  • Was a founding partner of LLG Financial Inc.
  • Used to work for GE Capital.
  • May have owned a nightclub(s).
  • Experienced success as a guru (scammer?) in the online dating niche.
  • Makes most of his money selling online courses.
  • Co-owns Mentor Box – a book shipping and e-learning company.
  • Claims to ‘read’ (skim?) a ‘book a day’.
  • Has a podcast called The Tai Lopez Show.
  • Appeared on the TV show Millionaire Matchmaker.
  • Published a few mediocre/arguably poor modelling/dating books.
  • Is part of Mensa (a club for really clever folk).

Know of any more Tai Lopez ‘facts’?

Let everyone know…

By listing them in the comments section at the end of the post.

What is Tai Lopez’s Net Worth?

Tai claimed that his net worth was around $50 million in this podcast with Logan Paul.

What Does Tai Lopez Sell?

Tai mostly sells online education courses and mentoring programmes.

I’ve listed the ones that I could find in the next section.

Tai Lopez Product Reviews

Just to be clear.

I’ve not yet bought any of Tai’s products.

But I thought it might be useful for you if I did some research and completed a short overview of Tai’s products…

And include any real user feedback that I could find.

Have you bought and used any of Tai’s products yourself?

Definitely let me know of your experiences with them at the end of this post.

(Did they help you make money, did you feel that they offered value, did you feel like you’d been ripped off etc?)

1: Mentor With Tai

I couldn’t find out much about this programme online at the time of writing.

But it looks to have been launched quite recently and as far as I can tell it’s different to Tai’s Millionaire Mentor programme.

If you know any more details please update me in the comments section.

2: Amazon Sales Blueprint

This course is all about selling online with Amazon.

It follows a 4 step process that Tai outlines in the video below.

Most of the Amazon Sales Blueprint reviews that I read online gave it fairly high ratings.

3: Social Media Marketing Agency 2.0

This is one of Tai’s most popular courses.

It looks like Social Media Marketing Agency 2.0 shows you how to start your own remote social media business and get clients.

Such tasks may involve posting content on social media, creating sales pages, running advertising campaigns, and more for your clients.

I believe that the course content is curated by multiple authors that’re deemed to be experts in their field.

I went in search of some genuine Social Media Marketing Agency 2.0 user reviews and they were fairly positive.

But with the main criticism being that the course content is too scattered and a bit repetitive in places.

4: Credit Mentor 2.0

This is quite a short course that’s delivered mainly by Stephen Liao.

Where Stephen will apparently show you the process he followed to go from an ‘…F to an A rating in just 12 months’.

As far as genuine Credit Mentor 2.0 reviews go?

I couldn’t find many outside the screenshots posted on the Credit Mentor sales page.

This related thread on Reddit just bashed Tai Lopez in general and called him a scammer.

With many saying that the information found inside Credit Mentor 2.0 can be found for free online if you look hard enough.

5: Ecomm Agency

This course is supposed to help you build a ‘6 figure ecommerce agency’.

The Ecomm Agency reviews that I read were somewhat positive.

But they came from internet marketing review sites rather than real users.

In Tai’s own words…

Here’s how Ecomm Agency is supposed to work:

6: Ecommerce Blueprint Quickstart

This course will show you how to set up a ‘…new online business from scratch in 4 steps’.

Which supposedly follows the same formula that has made Tai $14,000 in a single day.

But I couldn’t find any real Ecommerce Blueprint Quickstart reviews anywhere online.

7: Real Estate Blueprint

This course supposedly shows you how to ‘flip’ properties.

But without needing a lot of money to get started.

The course claims to cover the three key strategies – which includes how to find, fund, and close/cash out the deals.

Here’s more info from Tai himself:

8: Tai Lopez 67 Steps

Tai Lopez’s 67 Steps programme is probably his most widely known product.

I’ve not enrolled myself.

But you apparently pay $1 for each of the $67 videos.

The content of which many have reported is ‘theoretical’ and mostly advice-based relating to becoming ‘successful’.

I found a lot of positive user reviews of Tai Lopez’s 67 Steps programme on GoodReads:

9: Home Sharing Management Company

This programme supposedly shows you how to make $1,000 – $10,000 per month in the ‘home sharing economy’.

I believe that the focus of this course is on Airbnb.

The only Home Sharing Management Company reviews that I could find online were from affiliates.

So I have no real clue as to whether this course is any good or not.

10: How To Invest Your Money Quickstart

I couldn’t find any real How To Invest Your Money Quickstart reviews online that I could trust 100%.

But if you’ve got a spare 2 and a half hours…

Feel free to sit through this presentation by Tai himself to find out more:

11: Entrepreneur Fitness

I’ve not purchased this course.

But I’ve been in the fitness game for 16 years.

And I can tell you for a fact that there’s absolutely NO reason to pay for an overpriced fitness course (from ANYONE) to stay in shape.

You can find everything you need from exercise plans to nutrition regimes for free online.

And I’ve managed to fit my programme around my home-based ‘work day’ with ease.

Keep your money in your pocket and do some research!

Tai Lopez – Scam Artist Claims

Let’s get into it.

There are a LOT of claims out there that Tai Lopez is a scam artist.

I’ve summarised the main allegations below.

And I’ll provide my own opinions in the ‘conclusion’ section below.

1: Tai Doesn’t Own the Stuff in His Videos

There’s much debate around whether or not Tai own the cars and houses that appear in his promotional videos.

Other sources have supposedly provided proof that some of his cars are leased.

And that the money in his videos is fake.

2: His Programmes Are Get-Rich-Quick Scams

A get-rich-quick scam is exactly that.

Something that promises to make you a lot of money in a short period of time…

But ultimately falls short of the claims made in the sales pitch.

And many feel that the headlines on Tai’s sales page and the earning claims in the promotional videos for his products do not match up with the amount of money that the average person can expect to make from his programmes.

Tai has a disclaimer on his pages that states his results are ‘not typical’ to keep himself out of legal hot water.

But some feel that the overall message is still misleading to the point where people will pay for his courses under the illusion that making a lot of money is going to be easy.

3: False Claims

There are reports online that claim Tai has made several statements that are simply not true.

In relation to:

  • Misquoting GDP figures.
  • Claiming that the average American is $225,238 in debt.
  • One of his videos being the most watched in video campaign history.
  • Having the most famous book club in the world.

4: Tai Got Rich Running Online Dating Scams

Some sources that I’ve read say that Tai once owned a ‘fleet’ of dating websites from 2010 – 2015.

And some users reported that they felt they had been scammed.

Where it’s alleged that fake profiles were used to entice people to purchase premium membership packages.

5: Getting a Refund Isn’t Always Easy

Tai apparently does offer refunds.

But users report that they aren’t always easy to get.

With Niall Doherty from eBiz Facts saying that he found that the most effective way to get a refund was by using the Live Chat Feature:

Screenshot of Tai Lopez Refund Difficulties from a User.

6: The Courses Are Expensive

How much do Tai Lopez’s courses cost?

Well the prices are typically hidden from you on the front end of the websites.

This is to avoid putting you off.

Because they are pretty expensive.

Which is why they prefer to warm you up with a webinar or email series first.

I believe that the Social Media Marketing Agency costs $697.

And the Credit Mentor Programme had a price tag of £497 when I checked:

Screenshot of Tai Lopez's Credit Mentor Programme Pricing Costs.

Tai Lopez – Are There Any Good Points?

There’s quite a lot of ‘hate’ directed towards Tai Lopez online.

And some of it may indeed be the consequence of what looks like some potentially semi-valid claims.

But is there any positive Tai Lopez reviews out there?

Well here’s the main thing that I discovered:

Tai Lopez’s Courses DO Appear to Help Some People

Despite their hefty price tags…

The screenshots that I posted earlier indicate that some people are actually getting value from his courses.

With Tai Lopez’s 67 Steps programme seeming to be the most well received.

And if you believe any of the Tai Lopez testimonials in the video below…

Then it appears that Tai Lopez has helped people make some serious money online:

Pros v Cons

Here’s how I think it stacks up for Tai Lopez in terms of the good and bad points overall.

Let me know if you agree with these points at the end of the post.

Conclusion: Is Tai Lopez a Scam Artist?

Is Tai Lopez a scam artist or not?

In my opinion?

The binary answer would be ‘no’ – Tai Lopez is NOT a scam.

Because it does appear that there’s sufficient value within his courses to justify the price tags for a fair number of people.

Even if his marketing tactics are arguably unethical.

But the real answer?

I think that’s a bit more subjective.

Because what is perceived as ‘good value’ is likely to vary from person-to-person.

Because dropping £497 on a course might be nothing for some folks and they may learn a lot from the content.

Whereas someone else may end up scraping their last pennies together to pay for access…

Only to feel ripped off by the content because it’s too vague an unactionable.

Which brings me to my main issue with Tai Lopez and gurus in general.

Online Marketing Gurus Can RUIN Your Life

That may sound dramatic.

But I think there’s a real danger that you could end up throwing your money away if you hang on to the every word of these online marketing gurus.

Because people like Tai Lopez, Gary Vaynerchuk, Alex Becker, Tony Robbins, and many more make a good chunk of their money by being socially relevant.

This means that they often come up with ‘sound bites’ of highly opinionated and often controversial content in order to capture your attention…

And funnel you towards their products that will apparently solve the ‘problem’ they have just posed to you.

This is often interwoven with stories about how they dropped out of college or high school and still ‘made it’.

And impressionable folk may end up basing their lives around people who are exceptions to the rule, not revealing all of the facts, or simply spinning you a web of lies to push their own products.

It’s my personal viewpoint that many of these gurus are little more than ‘bullshit artists’ who end up misleading others.

Whether it be on purpose or inadvertently.

Should You Buy Any of Tai’s Products?

That’s really up to you.

But hopefully the points that I’ve raised in this Tai Lopez review have helped you formulate a more informed decision.

And if you do go ahead and try any of his products…

Let me know if you got value from them in the comments section below.

What’s the Alternative?

In my experience?

It’s best to follow a clear strategy that’s proven to work.

And for me that’s been setting up my own online affiliate business.

Using the strategies advocated by my #1 online money-making solution.

Which recently resulted in me making $754 in a single DAY:

Screenshot of ClickBank Daily Sales Affiliate Commission

I’m all about adhering to substance over style.

Because I’d rather follow a clear technique that results in real money being earned.

Rather than wasting 3 hours watching a webinar that’s mostly full of motivational waffle, rambling anecdotes, and internet marketing scare tactics.

So click the button below.

And I’ll show you the EXACT resource that’s helped me generate $1,000’s online in passive income to date.

(And how you can get started on the same path today).
