At first glance?

I thought that IntelliZoom was just going to be another one of those low-quality affiliate aggregator sites…

That links off to a bunch of crappy surveys and get-rich-quick scams.

But as I’m about to reveal in this honest IntelliZoom review…

That’s not what was waiting for me in my member’s area after I signed up.

What is IntelliZoom?

IntelliZoom is a GPT (‘get paid to’) site.

Where you’re paid for completing online tasks.

And what sort of tasks would those be?

Well…

IntelliZoom is a bit different to other GPT sites that you might have used in the past.

Because IntelliZoom requires you to record your voice as you use various websites, apps, and programmes.

This is so that vendors can get user feedback to improve their offerings and user experience.

And by definition?

Offering such feedback is what qualifies you as an IntelliZoom ‘panellist’.

The amount of money that you earn is dependent on the complexity of the task required.

More on payments in just a moment.

Who’s Behind IntelliZoom?

UserZoom Inc. is the company behind IntelliZoom.

Their associated address is:

10 Almaden Boulevard, Suite 250 San Jose, CA 95113 USA.

How Does IntelliZoom Work?

The process that I followed basically went like this:

  • Join up via their website with a valid email address.
  • Answer basic screening questions.
  • Take the practice study.

What is the Practice Study?

The practice study is to give you an idea of how the live tests work.

You’ll need to install the UserZoom Surveys extension to do this.

You’ll only be able to install the extension if the app can detect a camera and microphone.

What Exactly is Recorded?

According to IntelliZoom’s Terms of Service…

You’ll need to consent to the capture of the following elements via the UserZoom Recorder:

  • Your device screen actions, screenshots, clicks, sounds, navigational data and your voice as you perform tasks on selected Study Elements;
  • Your facial expressions and gaze through the use of your webcam;
  • Your answers to one or more series of questions posed;
  • Your written commentary and suggestions;
  • Your vocal commentary and suggestions;
  • Your profile information, as updated by you from time to time; and
  • Any other visual or audio materials that are captured by your webcam or microphone while using the UserZoom Recorder.

Can Anyone Join?

No.

You need to be over 18 to join IntelliZoom in most jurisdictions.

But this increases to 21 if you’re from the US.

What Are The Other Participation Requirements?

Once again…

According to IntelliZoom’s Terms of Service…

In order to participate in the study you must be able to provide the following:

  • A high-speed broadband Internet connection;
  • An Apple computer running OS X 10.7 or higher, or a PC running Microsoft Windows 7 Service Pack 1 or higher;
  • An Apple iPhone or iPad running iOS version 9 or higher, or a smartphone or tablet, including Amazon Kindle, running Android 4.2 or higher;
  • A fully operational built-in, USB or plug-in headset microphone;
  • A fully operational webcam;
  • A valid e-mail address;
  • A private place to perform the study with your face fully lit;
  • A valid PayPal account for payment processing; and
  • Any other required materials specified by us in connection with the applicable Study. You are responsible for obtaining, maintaining and paying for all of the foregoing, and any other hardware or telecommunications and other services needed to participate in any Study.

How Long Do the Studies Take?

According to IntelliZoom?

Studies supposedly take between 10 and 20 minutes each.

How Many Studies Are There?

There’s no fixed amount.

Because the exact quantity of the surveys personally available to you will vary in accordance to the answers you provide on your personal profile.

How Can You Qualify For More Studies?

You can increase the number of studies available by completing your personal profile.

Invites will then be sent to you via email in due course.

How Much Do You Get Paid?

The exact amount will vary depending on the complexity of the task.

But IntelliZoom say that you’ll be paid $10 on average for each audio/video task.

That’s pretty good.

When Are Payments Released?

Completed studies take 3-5 days to be approved.

You’re then paid via PayPal within 21 business days of approval…

The email that you registered with must have a PayPal account associated with it.

Is IntelliZoom a Scam or Legit?

In my OVERALL opinion?

IntelliZoom is PROBABLY legit and not a scam.

But I’ll reveal the cause of my hesitance in just a moment.

My Thoughts On IntelliZoom

Ok.

So coupling my first-hand experience with the research I performed on IntelliZoom…

Here are my personal thoughts on the service.

1: Mixed Payment Proof Reports

As I just said.

I personally believe that IntelliZoom is legit overall.

Because I did find reports of people saying that they’d been paid by IntelliZoom for their work:

Screenshot of a positive payment proof for IntelliZoom.

But…

There were also some complaints from folk who hadn’t been paid in full – or at all – by IntelliZoom.

But this doesn’t necessarily mean that IntelliZoom is a scam.

Because it could be that some of the people complaining had their work disapproved for legitimate reasons and they didn’t know.

Or not.

It’s hard for me to really say.

2: Good Pay for a GPT Site

But if you do get paid?

Then getting $10 per task is actually a very good rate of pay for a GPT site.

But don’t expect to be quitting your job anytime soon to do projects on IntelliZoom…

Because it’s almost certain that the volume of work will fall below the amount required to meet the national minimum wage.

3: Not the Best if You’re An Introvert

Personally?

I hate anything to do with recording my voice or being on camera.

I only like typing lol.

So the idea of having to record myself whilst reviewing a project isn’t ideal.

Pros

  • Good rates of pay.
  • Free to join.
  • Some users report getting paid.

Cons

  • Some reports of not getting paid.

Conclusion: Pretty Decent – If It Pays Out!

In my opinion?

IntelliZoom has the capacity to be one of the better GPT sites.

Simply because they’re paying $10 per task on average.

But the mixed payment proof reports do put the brakes on the whole thing a bit.

So at this stage?

I’m going to go ahead and say that IntelliZoom is probably legit and not a data harvesting scam.

But you may wish to proceed with caution in regards to the amount of personal information that you decide to reveal in the profiling questions.

Let me know if you get paid in the comments section below.

What Are The Alternatives?

If you’re an introvert like me and hate the sound of your own voice?

Then you’ll probably want to stick with typing based GPT sites.

Here’s a few:

But if you’re a bit sick of GPT sites?

Then you might like to look at these work from home job opportunities:

Still not feeling it?

Then how about starting your own online affiliate business?

It’s tough going at the start.

But the income that you can generate will be passive…

And you could scale it to the point where you’re able to earn a full-time income from it.
